Prairie Smoke Farm is the agrarian dream of two friends, Megan and Gretchen, who yearned to reconnect with the soil. Our low-till micro farm has big ambitions, rooted in a deep commitment to regenerative practices that honor the web of life.

This includes not only employing organic methods but also, whenever possible, seeking alternatives to the petroleum-based materials commonly used in floriculture. For example, we employ natural jute to trellis our flowers instead of plastic netting and we use biodegradable mulches instead of landscape fabric to suppress weeds.
